- Everyone has been promoted and have received Battle Notches for the Syndicate Games Invasion.
- A request for Battle Notches has been sent for Jim and Jamie.
Old Business:
- Ship's Logo: Jamie presented an idea for the ship's logo. She envisions a black background with a heart lit from the back as though a star were shining behind it. Inside the heart will be a B'Rel class Bird of Prey. There will also be the ship's name and a bat'leth included.
- Progress on Costumes: Jamie knows what she is going to do for herself and her cadet kids. She is also working on one for a prospective new member. Benjamin and Jen reported that they are progressing slowly. All were reminded that they will be granted officer status once their costumes are completed.
- Recruiting: Jamie reported that she has visited with some and will continue in her efforts. Ben said he will talk to his friends that might be interested. Jim reported that he has received a soft commitment from a gaming friend and will talk with him further in the near future.
- KAG Shirts: Jim reported that KAG logo t-shirts are available through the KAG.org website, They are priced at $24.96 plus shipping. He said that these shirts will be worn at activities where costumes would be impractical or inappropriate such as volunteering for work details, etc. Everyone agreed to order their own shirts. Jim has ordered his, Diane's, and Chrissy's.
New Business:
- Jubilee Center Volunteering: Jamie reported that we are planning to volunteer to work at the Jubilee Center, a charitable organization that provides food and clothing to the needy. The plan is to go there on October 27th from 9:00 to Noon and work on whatever is needed. Jamie said she will follow up to be sure the plans will proceed.
- Future Projects Ideas: The following ideas were briefly discussed for future ship projects...

- Delivering Toys to the needy on Christmas.
- Cadets making Valentines for nursing homes.
- Handing water to passing marathon runners at the events in Kearney.
- Cadets painting Kindness Rocks to be placed around the community.
- Grand Comic Con: The Grand Comic Con in Grand Island, Nebraska is scheduled to take place on March 22nd- 24th at the State Fairgrounds. Discussion was held with pans to get a booth to be manned on Saturday and Sunday of the event. It is also hoped that we hold at least one panel, Klingon Jeopardy. There is also the possibility that the commander of the IKV Raptors Heart will join us for this if she is able to arrange her schedule to fit.
- Business Cards, Banners, and Brochures: There was discussion that the ship will need Business Cards, Banners, and Brochures for recruiting purposes and to identify who we are. Three banners would be needed including a KAG, a Cold Terror Fleet, and a ship's banner for display at cons and other events that we spearhead. Jim volunteered to contact Sharon of the Raptor's Heart to get a sample of the brochure that her ship uses for handouts at Omaha events. Jim further mentioned that he asked about using logos from the KAG website and received the answer that anyone in good standing with KAG is allowed to use the logos royalty free. Business cards would have the ship's logo and contact information for the ship, and for KAG.org.
- KAG Embroidered Patches: Jim explained that our very diverse crew needs something to tie us all together. He further told everyone that he is planning to order KAG embroidered patches to be placed on all uniforms. They will be awarded to each crew member once their costume is completed and are to be sewn on the left sleeve.
- Facebook Group: Jim explained that he will be starting a new Facebook Group to be called Nebraska Klingons. It will be the official public group for the Heart of Honor and we will be posting news of our activities. This will be separate from our private Facebook group that is for ship's members only. This will be done as soon as Jim has time to do it.
- Anime Nebraskon: Anime Nebraskon will be held fro November 2nd - 4th at the Ramada in Omaha. Jim is planning to go in support of our sister ship, the IKV Raptor's Heart and will serve on panels in costume if needed. Other members of the ship were invited to also attend. One of the guests at this event is Vic Mignogna of Star Trek Continues fame.
For the Good of the Ship:
